Be warned – The Fair Work Commission is Getting Tough

The Fair Work Commission is the body charged with ensuring workplace rules and regulations are adhered. It has considerable powers to take action against businesses that don’t comply, ramping up activity around Australia, fining businesses for lack of compliance. Small businesses need to be prepared for this increased activity

The Fair Work Commission has all encompassing powers for all matters relating to workplace rules and regulations and proposed legislation is with the Senate that will see workplace bullying being handled by the Commission as well.

Two local HR advisory service providers, Signature Staff and John Hartigan and Associates have joined forces to offer free advice for business owners in the region.
