Signature Staff – HR Resources and Recruitment Group is hosting a group of trainees from Airways Hotel in Port Moresby, PNG the last 2 weeks.
This dynamic training initiative has been set up to reward high performing staff members within the Hotel and is set to deliver a considerable boost to their skills.
Airways Hotel, is Papua New Guinea’s leading hotel, winner at the World Travel Awards and World luxury Hotel Awards.
The group of trainees will receive personal development as well as specific industry training, aimed at sales and service skills. The training will be complemented by work experience at The Sebel Cairns, one of Cairns top-hotels before flying back and putting the training into practice.
Signature Staff’s General Manager Mats Eriksson said: “There is a great opportunity here for all parties to benefit from this initiative. I’m particularly pleased that the Airways group now have chosen Cairns as their destination – previously being directed to Singapore and the US. We all stand to benefit from the formation of business relationships between Cairns and PNG and we hope that this will lead to further opportunities for collaboration”
The Sebel Cairns General Manager Craig Syphers said “we are pleased to be involved with this excellent Signature Staff Initiative. Papua New Guinea is a very important market for The Sebel Cairns, and the TNQ region as a whole.
