Signature Staff is currently inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced Support Workers to join our talent pool for upcoming and ongoing opportunities with our client across the Cairns region.
This Expression of Interest is ideal for Support Workers seeking flexible, casual or short-term assignments and who are passionate about delivering quality, person-centred support.
About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you may be engaged to provide support across a range of settings, including community, residential, and one-on-one environments. Assignments will vary depending on client needs and availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and daily living assistance
- Supporting participants with community access and social activities
- Assisting with meal preparation, domestic duties, and routine tasks
- Encouraging independence, choice, and dignity at all times
- Following individual support plans and organisational procedures
- Completing basic documentation and reporting as required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Support Worker or in a similar care role
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- A caring, professional, and reliable approach
