Service Advisor - Auto Mechanical Industry

Our client Cairns local auto mechanical workshop has an opportunity for a Service Advisor to join in their team. This is a full time role Monday to Friday.

Position summary

• Respond to a high volume of calls
• Greet customers and visitors to the business, create a positive first impression
• Schedule vehicle repairs, prepare invoices and take payments.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers and staff.
• Liaise with customers regarding maintenance and warranty issues
• Maintain an up to date customer database
• Order parts and maintain stock
• Ensure a safe, clean environment for staff and customers

Key competencies

• Experience within the automotive industry
• High level of personal presentation
• Excellent phone manner & customer service skills
• Good level of computer & administration skills
• Sales skills would be advantageous
• Excellent time management and forward planning skills with a high level of discipline and self-motivation

• Valid driver's licence
• Mechanical background
• Computer and mechanical software knowledge
• Positive mindset to grow the business
• Passionate for the auto industry and genuine customer service
