2. Make your profile more personal

Although LinkedIn is the “professional” social networking site, you want to reserve the first part of your “Summary” to add a personal note about yourself. Adding LinkedIn’s blog application, syncing your profile with your twitter updates, or including other advanced applications (calendars, book reviews) help your profile stand out from the rest and show you maintain and update your profile regularly.
